The Beauty of the Paint

Correcting Paint is an art and skill. The process takes time, dedication, and a trained individual doing the actual work. Car paint correction is the act of restoring and rejuvinating the paintwork of a vehicle, mostly through elimination of surface imperfections. These imperfections may be dulling, oxidizing, or hazing the surface of the paint which is detracting from a clean reflection. Instead, you may see scratches, swirl marks, or holograms in the paint.

No paint’s surface is perfect. Even when you purchase a new car, it can come with surface defects in the paint such as micro scratches, overspray, and excessive orange peel. The journey a car takes through factory and upon delivery to a dealership is not a clean one. There will be damage to the paint even on a brand new vehicle.

At Inspire Detailing, whether it is a brand new car or a 10 year old car, we can remove that layer of damage and polish your paint to achieve that glorious shine you desire. After your paint is corrected, we highly recommend getting it ceramic coated to preserve it’s pristine condition and protect it from damage in the future.

This is our budget friendly option. Maybe it is your daily driver, you don’t need all the marks gone, or just want to freshen up the paint a bit – this would be the correction for you. A stage 1 correction will give you restored gloss and clarity in the paint.

The More You Know

We do a full, in-person walkaround with each customer to go over the condition of the paint. This helps us understand your expectations, and for us all to get on the same page in regards to what is possible on a certain budget and what is not. This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions, learn the process, and be educated on the services we will be performing on your vehicle.

We are all about educating our customers at Inspire Detailing and highly recommend you to be involved in your paint correction.
All of our paint corrections require a master exterior detail to get the paint prepped for correcting. The surface will also be cleaned with an IPA solution to make sure it is perfectly clean so we can fully inspect the paint and know its condition before our machines ever touch it. This is built into the price. The prep work that goes into a paint correction is just as important as the correction itself.

We highly recommend adding a ceramic coating application after a car paint correction is performed as well. It is the best time because the coating “seals” in the condition of the paint. You don’t want to go through all of the time and money to get your paint looking perfect, and then not put the best protection there is to make it last.
